For the past few years, access has been limited for delivery vehicles with combustion engines in the historical city centre of Rome, the first city to have benefitted from Citylogin. Being attentive to customers’ needs, FM Logistic is developing the solution in other cities in Italy, Spain, Poland, Russia and… France.
Construction of the 30th FM Logistic platform in France began last January at Heudebouville, near Évreux (27).
Initially, this new site, which is expected to be operational at the beginning of 2018, will house classified cosmetics in 3 storage compartments measuring 3,000 m² each. Eventually, the platform will have 6 compartments and a total warehouse area of 21,000 m², with the aim of hosting other customers in the cosmetics and pharmacy sectors.
For Easter holidays, the FM Logistic fleet has delivered all over Italy 3,154.5 tons of typical products such as Colombe, eggs and chocolate Easter desserts. This is an increase of 11.3% over twelve months ago.
FM Logistic France continues to industrialise its co-packing activity and introduces the main principles of Lean Manufacturing. The company is strengthening its teams by appointing two activity managers with backgrounds in the industrial world and introducing a programme of certification of its employees' skills.

FM Logistic, the international logistic operator leader in the supply chain and transport market, spread in 13 different countries and with a turnover of 1.034 million euros, signed a new contract for the distribution of goods on all Carrefour Markets present within Milan’s city center, called Area C, with low CO2 emission trucks.
Thanks to Citylogin, the sustainable logistic project, we will save 2,9 tons of CO2 for each single truck.

FM Logistic, reference player in warehousing, transport and packing, has been supporting EM Strasbourg business school and its Supply Chain Management Chair, since 2011, through the regular funding of research projects. After 4 years’ work and a successful pilot phase, one of the projects is ready to be deployed; a measurement system baptised Di@log, dedicated to the reorganisation of logistic operations in warehouses and a major issue in terms of productivity.
