ALICE appoints Charlotte Migne as Urban Logistics ChairGroup
17 July 2019 - The Alliance for Logistics Integration through Collaboration in Europe (ALICE), a platform funded by the European Union, has appointed FM Logistic’s sustainable development director Charlotte Migne as chair of the working group on urban logistics. The appointment comes as part of the renewal of ALICE’s executive group on 9 July 2019. François Régis Le Tourneau, corporate supply chain standards and prospective director at L’Oréal, has been elected chairman of Alice until July 2021. He succeeds Sergio Barbarino (P&G), who will remain in the executive group as vice-chair.
The Brussels-based ALICE was created in 2013. Its role is to develop a strategy for research, innovation and market deployment of logistics and supply chain management innovation in Europe. Key areas of research include urban freight, the physical internet and the future of ports.
