FM Logistic receives corporate responsibility awardGroup
FM Logistic was presented with the “Best integrated corporate responsibility approach” award at the sixth edition of the “Nuit de la RSE” (or Corporate Responsibility Night) in Paris, France.
This award recognises FM Logistic’s efforts to improve work-life quality for its 27,000 team members (including 6,000 in France), reduce its environmental footprint and develop sustainable services for its customers. The distinction also recognises the company’s positive contribution in an industry facing huge hiring needs and the challenge of carbon emissions.
« Taking care of our employees is crucial to FM Logistic, since we create close to 3,000 direct jobs per year,” says Charlotte Migne, FM Logistic’s corporate responsibility director. “In a service industry such as ours, this is key to offering quality services to our customers.”
For example, FM Logistic is developing and testing “exoskeletons” in France to alleviate the physical work of operators who handle loads as part of their duties.
The “Nuit de la RSE” was created by APF France Handicap in 2013. The event is co-organised by MDC Production. The 2018 jury comprised of 16 corporate responsibility specialists (full list available at https://www.nuitdelarse.fr/jury). Fourteen companies participated in the “Best integrated corporate responsibility approach” award (https://www.nuitdelarse.fr/meilleure-demarche-globale).
