  • FM Logistic awarded contract from large Vietnamese technology company VinShop

    4 November 2020 - Logistics provider FM Logistic has been awarded a contract from One Mount Group’s subsidiary VinShop, one of Vietnam’s largest purchasing organisations, to provide warehousing and order fulfillment services. The services will support VinShop’s new online marketplaces VinShop and VinID. VinShop acts as an intermediary between small independent stores and large consumer goods companies, with the aim to help all parties benefit from the rapid growth of Vietnam’s retail sector.

  • New study by Roland Berger and FM Logistic calls for more cooperation to tackle urban logistics challenges

    20 October 2020 - The urban logistics market is set to grow by an annual average of 8% in the years to 2030, according to a new study by FM Logistic and the consultancy firm Roland Berger. Yet road freight is responsible for an estimated 20% of urban traffic and 30% of CO2 emissions in cities. The rise in e-commerce, compounded by the fragmented nature of the logistics industry and the high proportion (up to 30 %) of failed first-time deliveries pose sustainability issues.

  • Pop up logistics projet wins call for proposals by the Ile-de-France region

    9 July 2020 - FM Logistic and Novaxia, a French-based real estate specialist, have partnered to set up “pop up” logistics centres in vacant or disused buildings in the Greater Paris area (known as Ile-de-France). Their project -called PLUME- has just won a call for proposals by the Ile-de-France region. It will receive public funding of €500,000.

  • FM Logistic gets bigger in Spain

    17 February 2020 - FM Logistic is expanding capacity in Spain to meet demand from new customers. The company today inaugurated the extension of its multi-client logistics centre in Illescas, 40 km south of Madrid. The expansion adds a further 10,000 sqm of space to the existing 21,000 sqm. The number of employees will reach 150 people.
