Our customer

Our client is a global manufacturer of premium confectionery products with a strong international presence and a fast-growing direct-to-consumer e-commerce channel. Its brand positioning is built on product quality, gift-oriented consumption, and a strong focus on customer experience.

Context

With the rapid expansion of e-commerce, the client aimed to introduce advanced product personalisation across its online store. Consumers could create their own chocolate gift boxes by selecting flavours, packaging formats and personalised elements such as greeting cards or printed messages.

While this new offering significantly improved customer experience, it also introduced operational challenges within the supply chain.

We designed and implemented an integrated logistics solution combining warehousing, customisation and e-commerce fulfilment within a single logistics facility.

  • Dedicated e-commerce fulfilment area
    We created a specialised fulfilment zone operating similarly to a retail picking environment, enabling rapid and precise preparation of personalised orders.
  • Advanced customisation management
    Operational processes were developed to manage high levels of order variability, allowing customers to select from multiple packaging options, flavour combinations and personalisation elements such as greeting cards or printed messages.

  • Temperature-controlled logistics
    To protect product quality, we implemented controlled storage environments and specialised packaging solutions. Cooling inserts ensure stable temperatures during delivery while preventing moisture penetration.
  • Industrialised co-packing operations
    Automated filling and wrapping systems support efficient preparation of gift sets, seasonal assortments and mixed-flavour boxes while maintaining high operational accuracy.
  • Scalable operations during peak seasons
    Our operational model combines flexible workforce management and scalable infrastructure to absorb significant seasonal demand without requiring additional investment from the client.
