at 2024 Axway Excellence Awards

On June 10, 2024

Paris, France – June 6, 2024 – FM Logistic proudly announces it has been awarded the Transformation Excellence Award at the 2024 Axway Excellence Awards. This award recognizes FM Logistic’s outstanding achievements in digital transformation, innovation, and visionary excellence, underscoring its commitment to driving business success through technological advancement.

The Transformation Excellence Award, presented by Axway (Euronext: AXW.PA), celebrates customers who have significantly improved their business outcomes and exceeded their operational demands through innovative solutions. Axway, a leading provider of API, Managed File Transfer (MFT), and B2B Integration solutions, acknowledges FM Logistic for its exemplary efforts in these areas.

Organizations worldwide submitted projects for consideration in three categories: Transformation, Innovation, and Visionary. A panel of Axway executives and industry experts evaluated the submissions, ultimately selecting FM Logistic for its transformative project.

The migration of FM Logistic’s EDI infrastructure to the cloud has been transformative, driven by the need for reliability, scalability, and enhanced efficiency,” said Alexandre Brauner, Group Information Systems Director at FM Logistic. “With the Axway B2B cloud solution, FM Logistic has strengthened its adherence to security standards and its dedication to supply chain partners, positioning FM Logistic as a leader in EDI innovation and reliability.”

We are delighted to present the EMEA Transformation Award to FM Logistic, one of our major B2B Integration customers,” said Roland Royer, Chief Customer Officer at Axway. “By delegating infrastructure management to Axway Cloud B2B – Managed Services, while retaining control over business project management and data flow development, FM Logistic has optimized resource allocation and streamlined operations.”

EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) is critical for FM Logistic’s operations. The decision to migrate to the Axway Managed cloud was driven the need to centralize responsibilities to overcome project bottlenecks, skills management issues and a need for higher level of security. The migration concluded in late 2023, involved over 320 EDI partners, including customers and carriers.

FM Logistic’s project strategy included delegating infrastructure and B2Bi product setup to Axway, while maintaining direct responsibility for business project management and data flow development. The data flows were distributed across several platforms and data centers based on geographic regions (Western Europe, Central Europe, Eastern Europe, and Asia) to enhance security and enable delegation to other internal teams. This approach maximizes business value by allowing FM teams to focus on project analysis, EDI development, and ensuring reactivity during all phases (connection setup, UAT, and GoLive).

FM Logistic continues to explore and leverage new Cloud technology opportunities to further enhance its capabilities and deliver exceptional value to its customers and partners.
