FM Logistic strengthens its warehousing capabilities in Vietnam

with a multi-client facility in Binh Duong

Binh Duong, Vietnam – 28 September 2023 – French contract logistics provider, FM Logistic, is strengthening its omnichannel fulfillment capabilities in Vietnam with the opening of its owned multi-client facility in Binh Duong, Vietnam.

Built by NG Concept, the real estate sister company of FM Logistic, the warehouse is located 43 km from Ho Chi Minh City center and provides cutting-edge warehousing, handling, co-packing, distribution, and e-commerce services. The multi-client facility is set to serve multiple customers simultaneously while mutualising the space and its resources to the demand fluctuation. Thanks to its three phases of construction, the facility allows FM Logistic customers to scale their operations while securing their growth within the same facility. 

Addressing the media and FM Logistic’s clients at the newly inaugurated facility, Jean-Christophe Machet, Global CEO of FM Logistic said, “This Grand Opening event marks a significant milestone in our commitment to providing superior logistics solutions to our esteemed clients in the region. The facility boasts state-of-the-art infrastructure, modern technologies, and a customer-centric approach that will elevate the efficiency and reliability of sustainable omnichannel supply chains for our clients.”

Spread across 20 000 sqm, and expandable up to 50 000 sqm, FM Logistic Vietnam’s new warehousing facility is equipped with 78 docks and furnished with best-in-class safety and security features providing cost-efficient, quality storage, handling and distribution services. Sustainability being at the heart of operations at FM Logistic, the facility also includes sustainable features such as energy generation through solar panels, water treatment plant, rainwater harvesting, pebble mulching for water conservation and sensory LED lighting. 

Having already attracted prominent clients in the Food and Retail sectors, a first expansion of 16 000 sqm is planned for 2025 which will see the capacity of the warehouse reach 36 000 sqm.

Beside the warehousing services, clients are also using optimised shuttle and/or distribution services which complete their end to end logistics services.
