CDP 2024 scores are in!

FM Logistic confirms its commitment to environmental transparency with its latest CDP climate score for 2024.

On May 21, 2025

We are pleased to announce that FM Logistic has received its 2024 score from the CDP (Carbon Disclosure Project)*.

For the fourth consecutive year, we have been committed to collecting, analysing and acting upon environmental data as part of our CSR strategy, submitting this information to CDP for rating. This ranking not only responds to growing client requests on sustainability assessments, but also helps us anticipate upcoming regulations and move closer to our sustainability goals.

This year, we have once again achieved a B score on climate topics.

But what does this mean?

According to the CDP, a B rating means that FM Logistic has a good sustainable development policy and takes into account the impact of its activity on the environment by ensuring that coordinated measures are put in place on climate issues. In other words, it is a snapshot of a company’s environmental disclosure and performance, and a proof of our efforts to improve data quality and transparency, especially for our clients.

B is currently the maximum grade that FM Logistic can achieve, as our data are not entirely audited and our climate targets have not yet been submitted for validation by the SBTi (Science Based Targets initiative). However, we are actively working on this, including improving risk disclosures and value chain engagement.

What’s been improved since last year?

  • Scope 3 emissions data accuracy (emissions linked to our value chain): better data quality and clearer methodology for emissions that come from activities we don’t directly control, like purchased goods, employees commuting, etc.
  • Opportunity disclosure: we can now better explain how climate action can also benefit the company, both qualitatively and quantitatively, with aligned financial metrics
  • Business strategy: now aligned with international standards such as Net-Zero scenarios and IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change) projections
  • Emissions reduction initiatives: to accompany our strategy, we have also implemented concrete actions that prove our commitment to support emission reduction.
  • Dependencies, impacts, risks & opportunities process: our methodology now follows the “double materiality” approach, meaning we look at both how climate affects our business, and how our business affects the climate, according to CSRD standards.

*Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) : The Carbon Disclosure Project is an organisation that publishes data on the environmental impact of the world’s largest companies. Each year, it ranks participating companies according to their efforts to reduce greenhouse gases, scoring them from D- to A based on leading frameworks and standards (GHG Protocol, AFi for forests, CEO Water Mandate, etc.). The CDP ranking has become a key benchmark for clients in the logistics sector, as well as for investors. Find out more on the CDP’s website.
