On World Education Day on 24 January, our teams reaffirmed their commitment to future generations. In four countries, they carried out solidarity initiatives to support learning, guidance and personal development for young people.

For FM Foundation, these international days are a great way to drive collective social initiatives and bring our commitments to life in a concrete way. Here’s a look back at a campaign focused on passing on knowledge and responsibility.

Spain: Supplies and creativity to support schooling

For collaborators at the Illescas platform, education begins with access to the right tools. In partnership with the NGO Save the Children, the teams identified a crucial need for school supplies and durable containers for 70 beneficiaries.

Collaborators therefore set to work to prepare and deliver a substantial donation of pens, notebooks and glass water bottles bearing the FM Logistic logo. This initiative also highlighted the children’s talent: collaborators offered the 2026 company calendar, whose pages are illustrated with drawings by young people from Save the Children, Egueiro and the Red Cross.

Slovakia: A day of immersion to inspire vocations

In Slovakia, education took to the field. Collaborators at the Sered platform welcomed five young people from the local orphanage for an educational excursion to the platform.

During the journey, Gabriela Sukupova (HR manager) shared the company’s values and the basics of our business. Once there, production manager Marek Margetiny took over to guide the visitors through the production lines. By explaining how the platform works, the teams gave these young people a behind-the-scenes look at our business.

France: Providing guidance to prevent dropouts

At the Orléans platform, efforts focused on combating school dropout rates. Site collaborators opened their doors to Year 9 and Year 10 pupils as part of the ‘Parcours Orientation’ project.

The aim? To support these young people, who sometimes feel lost, and help them plan for their future after secondary school. Through site visits and direct exchanges with our collaborators, the pupils were able to discover the reality of the workplace and the diversity of career paths. This hands-on immersion helps transform what is sometimes a passive career guidance process into a real plan for the future, while strengthening the link between the world of business and the world of education.

Poland: Meeting and sharing around our professions

In December 2025, a partnership was launched with a host family created by a former collaborator of the company and his wife. After a Christmas party at the Wolbórz warehouse, the teams at the Tomaszów platform invited the whole family for an educational visit on Education Day.

The idea was to show the eight children, aged 3 to 16, what daily work in a warehouse is really like. This meeting helped to strengthen ties with the Tomaszów collaborators, who actively support the family.
